Coopers & Cambridge Logistics is all about saving you time so you can increase your earnings. They understand that owner-operators enter the business to drive and earn, but often get overwhelmed with paperwork, regulations, and negotiations. By handling these business support activities, Coopers & Cambridge Logistics ensures that your business runs smoothly, allowing you to focus on taking more loads. Additionally, they specialize in negotiating better rates for your loads, helping to maximize your profits.

Contrary to expectations, finding skilled talent involves a rigorous recruitment process that is both time-consuming and potentially expensive, especially if headhunters are involved. Even after hiring, there are additional costs for office space and possible training. However, many clients find that hiring Coopers & Cambridge Logistics is more cost-effective than employing a full-time dispatcher. Their expertise, network, and experience in the industry make them a superior choice.

To sign up with Coopers & Cambridge Logistics, you’ll go through a straightforward online process:

  1. Sign their Dispatch Carrier Agreement, which outlines mutual responsibilities but is not a long-term commitment. Services are on a month-to-month basis with no penalties for discontinuation.

  3. Submit a Carrier Set-Up Package, including references, your MC Permit, and a signed W9 form.

Reefer

Reefer trailers are refrigerated trailers with temperature-controlled units built into them. When businesses across the US need temperature-controlled freight, there is no substitute for a refrigerated truck. Also known as reefer trucks, these vehicles are fitted with the technology required to keep meat and produce fresh and sensitive cargo at the right atmospheric conditions. Do you have the need to transport fruits and vegetables, meat, fish (fresh or frozen), milk and dairy products, flowers, pharmaceuticals, juice and concentrate and chocolate? Call our Reefer specialist.

Power Only

Power only trucking is a full truckload capacity solution that occurs when a carrier provides only a driver and a tractor (also known as a “power unit”). In power only trucking, the driver does not bring a trailer, but instead hooks up to and hauls a trailer that is either leased or owned by a shipper. Running power only can help you increase your efficiency as a carrier because you don’t have to spend a lot of time matching specific types of loads with equipment.

Hot Shot

Hot shot trucking involves hauling smaller, more time-sensitive LTL loads (less than truckload) within a specific timeframe and usually to a single customer or location. Hot shot loads are usually delivered using medium-duty trucks that pull flatbed trailers. We recognize that fact that most Hotshot drivers are freelance, and we work expeditiously to book loads for them.

Dry Van

Our efficient team with specialization in Dry Van will dispatch your Dry Van. The importance of Dry Vans across America in conveying goods whilst protecting them from wind, rain, debris and other outside elements cannot be over emphasized. Dry vans provide a huge benefit to clients across the United States, keeping their goods safe and protected while they are out on the roads. Dry van units and drivers make an enormous contribution to the logistics operations that power our economy. Dry Van are designed to carry palletized, boxed or loose freight, dry vans aren’t temperature-controlled including clothing, furniture and electronics are commonly shipped via dry van trailers, though they also can be used to move machinery and parts, nonperishable foods and even household goods.

Flat Beds

Flatbeds are typically used for hauling large, oversized and  bulky loads. Flatbed truck is a heavy-duty vehicle. As such, it supports our economy in ways that other vehicles simply cannot. Construction needs including piping, beams, frames and other bulky or oddly shaped items. Landscaping sites order huge quantities of materials and ballast. Any location in which a large piece of equipment is required. Practically anything that can be loaded onto a trailer from the rear, sides or above and is capable of being firmly secured using chains or straps — or a combination of them.

Box trucks

These trucks provide a company with a flexible means of transporting goods. A box truck has ample cargo space to hold a lot of merchandise, and because it is a single unit, it can navigate roads more efficiently. They provide safer and easier maneuverability as compared to  trailers. Box trucks are used to transport non-perishable and dry goods including retail and consumer products, electronics, machine parts and palletized freight. They are often used to move furniture including chairs, tables, beds, sofas, dressers, desks, home goods, and smaller items.
